SAMAN, a composition by Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds is part of a new album coming out next year, with more singles to be released soon.
“Saman means “together”, but the music is very intimate. So for me, it’s almost as if it’s a longing for togetherness. So being by yourself, but also feeling connected”, says Lavinia.
“I met Ólafur Arnalds a few years ago and since then I have been playing his music with a lot of fun . His compositions feel close and make the feeling that you are with him in an old living room in Iceland, surrounded by overwhelming nature and silence."
